Ernest
Aaron is a multi-disciplinary artist based in the Blue Mountains, Australia.
This blog-site is an archive of the artist's art practice between 2007 and 2012 where his art
practice was situated around creating works that made reference to the psychology

Aaron holds
a Bachelor of Fine Art (Honours) from the National Art School, Sydney (2004),
and a Master of Fine Arts from Sydney College of the Arts, The University of
Sydney (2011).
He has
received several awards and prizes including the Emerging Artist Award, Mosman Art Prize (2006); Firstdraft
Emerging Artist Studio Residency (2007); Highly Commended and People’s Choice
Award, Marrickville Contemporary Art Prize
(2009); First Prize - Painting, Blacktown
City Art Exhibition (2010); Winner, Emerging,
Gosford Regional Gallery (2011); and Highly Commended - Works on Paper, Blacktown City Art Prize (2011). He has
been selected as a finalist in the Paddington Art Prize (2006-07); The Blake
Prize (2011); and the Wynne Prize, Art Gallery of New South Wales (2012).
